Abstract

Packet combining scheme is a well defined simple error correction scheme with erroneous copies at the receiver. The scheme fails to correct errors when errors occur in the same bit locations of the erroneous copies. In some earlier works, several schemes such as multiple packet combining scheme (MPC) and packet reversed packet combining scheme (PRPC) that will correct error if occurs at the same bit location of the erroneous copies, are studied.
