Abstract

This paper presents a systematic approach using tools & techniques like brainstorming, ABC analysis, Pareto analysis, Fishbone diagram, Data validation and why-why analysis to arrive at an appropriate solution for the main problem of high voltage overhead feeders which is "Tilting of pin insulators". Main objective of the problem is to reduce tilting of pin insulator from 36% to 5% on 33kV target feeder from Malviya Nagar to Andheria Bagh it South Delhi area and then it is implemented to all other 33Kv O/H feeders.
