Abstract

An accurate systematic approach is presented to properly characterize the arbitrary shaped planar structures embedded in layered media. The uniqueness of the present approach is to use the matrix pencil technique: to analyze the current distribution obtaineld from moment method solution, and to evaluate the electric parameters associated with the incident and reflected waves.
