Sistem Informasi Mitigasi Rawan Bencana Kota Padang Berbasis Web - ArcGis

Abstract

- Preparedness for potential natural disasters in West Sumatra, especially in the city of Padang, against floods and landslides must be done. Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB) has an important role in disaster mitigation, response, and early warning. The utilization of information technology in preparedness for potential disasters is very important to assist BNPB and the community in disaster mitigation. This study aims to provide information on areas prone to floods and landslides, the application of ArcGIS Online web-based information application by presenting geographic information to display maps based on types of disasters, news, districts, and disaster statistics. With a disaster-prone mitigation information system, it can provide mapping information as well as potential locations for floods and landslides in areas and locations in the city of Padang.
