And the factors that influence it are: (a) the factor of student interest in a particular department that has a percentage value of 78%. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the interests and factors that influence it to continue their studies to vocational high school. This type of research uses quantitative methods. The population in this study were all grade IX students, totaling 250 students. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics.
