Assessment of the Stress of Competitive Environment of Ukraine's Economy Banking Sector on the Basis of Media Monitoring

Abstract

The problem of assessing the level of external environment threat to banks using content analysis systems is considered. Based on the data of monitoring the Internet space by the InfoStream system using the “three groups” method, the values of the level of competitive environment stress for the top 10 banks of Ukraine in 2020 are calculated. The fact of different estimates of the environment stress to the banking sector of the economy of Ukraine depending on the type of information sources is established - generally favorable in the media and neutral or conflicting for some banks in social networks.
