Abstract

This paper examines the positron–hydrogen scattering process by numerically solving the time-dependent Schrodinger equation in the s-wave model. The overall behaviour of the system wavefunction as it propagates through the collision region is studied above the positronium formation threshold and is found to match expectations qualitatively.
