Abstract

This paper conducts a load and power quality analysis on a 3-feeder distribution system with a cryptocurrency mining system connected. The study includes power factor and harmonic distortion analysis of actual measured 15-minute data over three days in conjunction with measurements of startup and steady state waveforms to determine the load profile of a cryptocurrency mine when connecting to the electrical grid.
