Abstract:This article recounts 2 years of intensive mentoring by Rudolf Dreikurs from our first meeting until his death. It includes remembrances of his lectures, live demonstrations of interview and therapy skills, observation of his diagnostic skill in nonclinical settings, and training in his private practice. It concludes with personal reflections on the impact of this mentoring.
