Research on the influence of factor analysis and regression analysis on students' intention to stay

Abstract

In 2019, the hotel management major of Wuhan Business University was approved as a national first-class major construction site. This paper takes the students majoring in hotel management, the national first-class major construction site of Wuhan Business University, as the research object, collects data through questionnaire survey, and uses factor analysis and regression analysis to explore the relationship between major identity and retention intention. The study has showed that students' major identification with hotel management has a significant positive effect on their intention to stay in their jobs, major development and personal development both have a significant positive effect on their intention to stay in their jobs, and bad hotel internship experience weakens the positive relationship between major identification and intention to stay in their jobs.
