Design of an ultra-compact hybrid VO2/silicon switch

Abstract

The design of a 2×2 optical switch bused on an add-drop ring resonator wilh u hybrid VO₂/silicon waveguide is proposed. The switch is characterized by low insertion losses and a footprint below 50 μm².
