Abstract

In this mobile era, people cannot live without smart phones. But how smart and trustworthy they are is still a problem. User authentication is one of the most important issues. The prevalent solutions are simple (4-digit) password, regular textbased password, pattern password and fingerprint. However, all of them are one-way authentication and each of them has its own limitations. This paper proposes a two-way authentication method which fuses knowledge-based secret and personal trait information. Two types of demos are implemented, Android and Web. The experiments and analysis prove our approach is stronger than existing ones.
