Abstract

The problem of electrodynamic analysis and synthesis of band-pass waveguide filters on thin resonant metal diaphragms with a complex aperture is solved. A complex aperture is a combination of complementary split ring resonators (CSRRs) and a Koch fractal. The calculation of cutoff wave numbers and the components of electromagnetic fields expressions for have been carried out by the partial regions method, taking into account the features of the electromagnetic field on metal ridges. The results of computer simulation and experimental verification for a three-cavity band pass filter on a rectangular waveguide WR-137 are presented.
