Abstract
We design and implement a variable-rate non-concatenated LDPC code with an adaptive power-consumption decoder using 28nm CMOS technology. Experimental results obtained from a fabricated 256Gb/s optical transceiver demonstrate that the proposed LDPC achieves a NCG of 11.4dB at BER=10−15 without error-floor.
