The RRA is simulated in Ansys HFSS 15 and the full-wave simulations show a good beam-scanning of the reflectarray antenna. Abstract
An element is proposed in this paper which is composed of two trapezoidal patches and one PIN diode. The 180° phase difference can be achieved by tuning the working states of PIN diode.
