Microwave Behavioral Modeling with Nonlinear Large Signal Scattering Parameters

Abstract

This paper demonstrates application of nonlinear large signal scattering parameters (LSSP) to the microwave nonlinear behavioral modeling on the example of two nonlinear amplifiers cascade connection. It is shown that nonlinear LSSP provides capabilities to accurately modeling the fundamental output power, gain compression and less accurately the second harmonic output power.
