Analysis of the application of environmental innovations by oil and gas sector enterprises

Abstract

The introduction of environmental innovations has a positive effect on the state of the environment, but it has barriers: financial, technological. The article presents an analysis of the use of eco-innovations by large companies in the oil and gas sector (PJSC Gazprom-Neft and LLC Lukoil) and assesses the change in the impact of their industrial activities on the region. The case-study method was used to analyze the do-mestic experience of using such technologies in the field of ecology, a comparison of the projected and achieved results of projects was carried out. The conclusion is made about the positive impact of such tech-nologies on the state of the environment of the territory: the state of the air and water basins, the consumption of electric energy. Recommendations have been developed for state bodies on monitoring and control of environmental protection and innovation activities, subsidizing and financing innovation activities.
