Abstract

Facial detection and recognition system is basically used for authentication purpose. Every human face is unique, complicated multidimensional visual model and hence it is difficult in fabricating it. The face recognition is capable of performing task like identification and verification of a person. The face detection process is concerned with finding whether there is any faces in the images and if present then the image is recognized, compared and contents are stored in the database. This technique is used to find whether the individuals are available or not in the respective government organizations. The proposed system uses the HAAR face library cascade algorithm for face detection, recognition, comparison purposes.
