Optical Storage Media Guidelines

Abstract

Mechanical, Optical, Read/Write and Environmental guidelines for Optical Storage Media will be presented. The guidelines were created by a group of optical storage media and drive company representatives. The purpose of these guidelines is to assist others in optical media and/or drive design development and provide definitions and test methods for those interested in optical media storage.
