Abstract
Cloud Radio Access Network (C-RAN) is the next generation of access network architecture, bringing many benefits, such as CAPEX/OPEX saving, energy efficiency, performance improvement, high spectral efficiency, etc. In this paper, we propose a new partially centralized CRAN architecture, using TRILL as a transport protocol in the C-RAN fronthaul.
