Abstract

In order to support the SIM-EM.K3 10 mH inductance standards comparison, CENAM carried out the characterization of commercially available standards, which mainly consists in determining the dependence of the inductance and resistance with temperature. These determinations were useful not only for temperature corrections, but also to estimate the temperature of inductors through its DC resistance value. The results of these determinations and the use thereof in the mentioned international comparison are shown herein.
