Tabu Search Algorithm in Solving Military Operations Other Than War Airlift Loading Problem

Abstract

According to the features of airlift loading, first, a mathematical model for airlift loading is established in consideration of various realistic constraints such as centre of gravity, orientation, placing order, loading capacity and so on. Then, the airlift loading problem is solved by some key issues of tabu search are discussed, including encoding, decoding, evaluation function, neighborhood operation and tabu list. A simulation example shows the method is practical and instructive.
