Abstract

Most of researches on the reconstruction of vibro-acoustic fields are carried on in free acoustic fields. However, many practical measurement environments are not completely anechoic. The study on the reconstruction in half-space is valuable for the practical application. The present paper describes a new method for vibro-acoustic field reconstruction in half-space based on wave superposition method (WSM), which removes the effects of reverberation by dual surface acoustical holography procedure. The validity of the method is verified by derivation of principle and numerical simulation. The simulation results are compared with those calculated by the conventional method, which demonstrate that the method proposed is reliable and feasible, and is an efficiency way in engineering application.
