Abstract

Partial discharge (PD) is the main cause of electrical insulation failure. PD detection and localization are of great significance to evaluate the insulation status and service life of electrical equipment in substations. First, this paper reviews the detection technologies and localization methods of PD, and summarizes the important research achievements in recent years. Then, the advantages and limitations of different detection technology and localization methods are discussed. Finally, the problems in practical application are summarized, and the future research and application directions are put forward, which provide reference for the theoretical research and practical application of PD detection and localization.
变电站局部放电检测与定位技术综述
