Abstract

Design Criteria for High Energy Excimer Discharges B. L. Wexler, Naval Research Laboratory, Washington, DC. Discharge pumped excimer lasers offer an intense, efficient source of coherent UV light. In the design of high energy devices, limitations in long-pulse performance stress the importance of minimizing the inductance which accompanies the increase in discharge volume.
