Abstract

Transverse electromagnetic (TEM) waveguides are used in EMC measurements for immunity and emission tests. The paper describes a newly developed TEM waveguide, the S-LINE. Test cells known so far can be regarded as widened unsymmetrical coaxial lines with the EUT subjected to the electromagnetic field between the inner and outer conductor.
