Abstract

The intermittent nature of the renewable energy sources and the load and production mismatch have set the role of storage as substantial in the domestic field. In this paper a hybrid energy storage application is configured and examined. It is composed of a lead acid battery and a vanadium redox flow battery which are integrated in a residential installation with a photovoltaic facility.
