A cost effective control method has been studied for voltage control of dual SEIGs for low power generation in small industries and rural areas. SEIGs are taken in consideration because of their high availability in rural areas. The effects of various parameters are observed on the overall system. Abstract

The use of Self excited induction generators (SEIGs) often suffers from a common pessimistic reason of poor voltage regulation, which rules out the scope for utilizing the characteristic advantages of the machine in far flung areas.
