Abstract
Vacuum gauges used in deep space exploration are always calibrated in the laboratory. The temperature in the laboratory is about 23 °C± 3 °C, which is different from the environment temperature where the vacuum gauges is used. It will lead to the uncertainty of measurement results for vacuum gauge. Based on the requirement of the calibration for vacuum gauge in deep space exploration, a vacuum calibration apparatus for deep space exploration has been designed. The calibration apparatus is made up of gas supply system, pump system, temperature control system, pressure measurement, calibration system, bake system, data acquisition and control system. Though a year of experiment, its characteristics can met the needs of the vacuum gauge which are used in deep space exploration.
