Abstract
A new species, Ceropegia laotica Rodda & Meve, from the Bolaven Plateau in southern Laos, is described and illustrated. It shows a twining habit, linear-lanceolate leaves and possesses small root tubers. The new species is compared with Ceropegia cochleata Kidyoo from Thailand.
