Abstract
We propose using nonbinary LDPC-coded modulation with optimal constellations obtained via iterative polar quantization (IPQ). The proposed scheme significantly outperforms its prior-art bit-interleaved LDPC-coded modulation counterpart, e.g., by 2.78 dB for the 128-point IPQ constellation.
