Global harmony-the delivery of proof (open systems standards)

Abstract

The author attempts to summarize the criteria upon which open systems solutions will be procured in the immediate term and seeks to determine whether barriers to progress in this matter are real or artificial. He also suggests that some radical changes may be required to expedite delivery and that methodologies and processes are already in existence for this to be achieved on a global and convergent basis.<>
