Biological assessment of the river Nalchik (Hara) (Central Caucasus) on indicator species (Bacillariophyta)

Abstract

For the first time a biological assessment of the Nalchik River (Hara) (Central Caucasus) was made on the basis of species composition and abundance of diatoms. The formation of a database for monitoring water ecosystems in the region has been started.
