Abstract

This paper proposes dual band slotted hexagonal micro strip antenna. Hexagonal micro strip antenna has been design based on their equivalence with rectangular micro strip antenna and circular micro strip antenna. An increase in its bandwidth is realized by cutting pair of rectangular slot on X and Y axis of hexagonal micro strip antenna. Proposed design is simulated using different materials. Simulation and experimental result have been compared to validate the proposed design.
