This paper is designed to reduce the time of application of current for the drug permeation and ensure that constant current is maintained throughout the entire process. Since iontophoresis delivers drug transdermally, only small amount of the drug are absorbed into the systemic circulation. Abstract

This paper is designed by keeping in mind the efficiency and ease of drug delivery through transdermal method. Iontophoresis is a technique that is used to deliver the drug through the skin by the flow of electric current.
