Abstract

Gold is a mineral or natural minerals that are often in high demand among people. It isnot only due to its dense, soft, shiny, malleable and ductile but it also can be asinvestment and become a symbol of wealth to its owner. This article is intended to identifythe factors that influence the gold price fluctuations in the market. In addition, this articleis enable to answer the issue about the price of gold remains high in the market even theprice is constantly fluctuating and to identify efforts that needed to find new sources ofgold so that production can be increased to meet the demands of society. Finally a study on YaPEIM’s experience in gold production are alsodiscussed in this article. To achieve these objectives, the data and informationobtained from the primary data will be analyzed so that the issues that arise can bedealt accordingly. The results of this analysis will be used as a guide to the people,especially who want to have or who have had gold to know the benefits gained whenowning and storing gold for various purposes in the future.
