Abstract
The article focuses on analysing and designing a direct solar banana dehydrator by applying heat transfer concepts using MATLAB as mathematical modelling software. The validation of the mathematical modelling presented here is determined by the Pearson correlation coefficient. This provides the linear relationship between two quantitative random variables, which in this case are the data obtained experimentally at Leibniz Institut für Agrartechnik Potsdam-Bornim (ATB) campus (Germany), and the results obtained in the mathematical model presented in this article.
