Laboratory Safety

Abstract

The health, safety and well-being of both the University community and the environment are of utmost importance to the University. Being a research intensive institution with diverse science-based programs, laboratory environments are plentiful throughout the main and satellite campuses. As such laboratory personnel including employees, students and visitors are exposed to potential hazards unique to laboratory settings and hazardous materials each and every day.
