Abstract

The goal of this project is to demonstrate the versatility of a bi-directional add-drop multiplexer (BADM) in supporting a mixed signal environment with signal transparency on a DWDM mesh network at high data rates. Mesh architectures typically refer to a graph topology whose node degree is greater than one providing multiple connection paths between nodes.
