Dispersion of the group velocity direction of surface acoustic waves in layered structures

Abstract

The dispersion of an angle between the phase velocity and the group velocity of surface acoustic waves (SAW) in layered structures ZnO[001]/Sapphire[001], AlN[001]/Sapphire[001] and InSb[001]/Y+128°LiNbO3 was studied. It was shown that this dispersion can achieve 30° in the frequency band of 500 MHz.
