PENYULUHAN PENYAKIT HIPERTENSI PADA LANSIA DI PUSKESMAS KABILA KECAMATAN KABILA KABUPATEN GORONTALO

Abstract

Hypertension is an increase in systolic blood pressure of at least 140 mmHg or diastolic pressure of at least 90 mmHg, and is still a major health problem. Therefore, hypertension requires proper and optimal treatment, not only from the role of nurses but also from the role of the family, because hypertension has a negative impact on physical, psychological, economic and social aspects. The purpose of community service is to reduce hypertension. From what has been achieved with this activity, the Kabila Health Center is very supportive and gives thanks to the Muhammadiyah University of Gorontalo in carrying out the activities that have been carried out. The conclusion of this community service is that counseling can increase the knowledge that participants can understand and apply counseling in everyday life.
