In this paper, we will discuss how to place PMU optimally on a 150 kv Bali network, which consists of 16 substations where 4 of them are generating stations. Abstract

The complexity of the 150 KV Bali power system continues to grow, the development of electricity in Java and Bali averages 7.2% per year. A new model in real time management of electric power is needed. The Phasor Measurement Unit (PMU) provides synchronous voltage and current measurements with speeds of up to 60 samples per second.
