Abstract

X-ray computed tomography was used to obtain cross-sectional images of a unidirectional carbon fiber reinforced plastic,where fiber locations in each cross-sectional imagewere identified.Thethree-dimensionalmodelwith fiberwavinesswasdevelopedbyconnecting thefiber locations along the fiber direction.
