Abstract

A brief review is given of monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) development programs in Europe supported by the European Economic Community (EEC) and military administrations. Civil applications are presented, with examples from four leading European manufacturers of MMICs, namely, Plessey, Telefunken, Philips and Thomson-CSF.<>
