Abstract

The purpose of the article is to present the legislative framework for assessing the negative impact on the atmospheric air in the methodological approaches of environmental impact assessment (EIA) and analytical issues of methodological regulation. To achieve the goal, the following tasks were set: to study, compare and analyze the issues of methodological approaches and the legislative framework for assessing the negative impact on the atmospheric air in Armenia, then to identify and propose ways to improve and harmonize them, combining them with international obligations adopted in the field of environmental protection. The analytical method of comparing and combining statistical secondary data and legal acts is used in the article.
