Abstract

To prevent the significant performance degradation of beamforming against array steering vector (ASV) mismatch, spectral analysis (SA) technology is utilized to calculate the upper bound of the ASV mismatch and the corresponding mainlobe deviation (MD), so that the MD can be ensured to be within the range of half-power beamwidth (HPBW). Through the simulation and analysis, the derivation in this study has been proved.
