Abstract
To reduce the complexity of evaluating missile systems performance, a new fuzzy AHP model based on the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and basic theory of the trigonometrical fuzzy number (TFN) was given and corresponding evaluation process was introduced. In Matlab environment an illustrative example was presented and analyzed. The results indicate that applying TFN and LLSM to AHP makes the model combine subjective analysis with quantitative analysis effectively, synthesize group opinions adequately, and acquire the consistent degree of decisions under each criterion from different experts clearly. In addition, the model can be operated by programming easily and applied widely due to its simple, normative arithmetic formulas
