Field research of the Tatars of the Altai Territory in the 1990s–2010s by the Center for Oral History and Ethnography of Altai State Pedagogical University

Abstract

This article is devoted to the consideration of field studies of the Tatar population of the Altai Territory in the 1990–2010s , conducted by the Center for Oral History and Ethnography of the Altai State Pedagogical University. The paper analyzes the main thematic areas of field research in cities and regions of the Altai Territory. In conclusion, the author analyzes the main results of research by the Center for Oral History and Ethnography of the Tatars of the region at the present stage.
