The comprising of the internal calibration system, working modes and principle, the realization of calibrating links and the design of calibrators are described, as well as the index parameters are given in the paper, proving the feasibility of design and realization on the internal calibration system for bi-satellite Ka-band FMCW SAR theoretically. Abstract

Compared with single-satellite SAR system, bi-satellite SAR system solves the problem of isolation, which makes it have better anti-interference performance. However, the transmitting and the receiving subsystems of bi-satellite SAR are equipped in different satellites, so the realization of internal calibration is the key issue to the bi-satellite SAR system.
