Conclusion

Abstract

Some policy conclusions and recommendations, geared toward Caribbean policy-makers, are made with the aim of capitalizing on the changing dynamics within the region. The research offers revisionist perspectives for policy-makers and technocrats within the English-speaking Caribbean. In the twenty-first century, the member states of the region have identified a number of shared security problems and have endorsed regional goals and approaches to address them;however, progress toward solutions has been slow. This book seeks to understand better the various approaches and framings of some security concerns at national and regional levels with a view to assessing efficiency.
